Beloved, we just recently learned that our
dear friend Yonit Klien, from Emmaus Way Ministries in Tel
Aviv, has breast cancer. It was upon receiving this news
that I wrote Arnie and Yonit and asked their permission to
share their ministry fax with our mailing list for prayer.
Though it is a bit lengthy it is timely and well worth your
effort to read and pray fervently.

Dear Praying Friends,
It’s almost not fair for someone to have to write
all that is to follow in one letter. We have always tried
to be sensitive to not overload you with
too many things to focus on. Our intent, generally speaking, is to go into
more depth on a few things rather than to give a prayer list that, short of
spending hours, you would basically go through it giving each item a minute
or two. We realize that we are not the only item on your agenda.
As important as this work is to us and even to the Lord, there are other matters
at least of equal importance, if not greater and more urgent. We are grateful,
humbled, and highly honored by every one of you that takes the time to even
just read the things written in these letters. In the end, all this is not
so that arni, yonit, and all their friends and family have a nice time living
in Israel; but that the heart of the Father is ministered to, the Name of Yeshua
is lifted up so that people can see who and how He really is, and that the
Holy Spirit is given freedom to move about, manifesting the Kingdom of God
on earth as it is in Heaven.

With
all this as an introduction, we ask if you, if you have
ever
been moved by the Lord
on our behalf, if your heart has ever reached out in agreement
and identification with the work we have been given to
do, if you have any space at all on your hard disk to take
in anything at all, please, please, take a few moments
and consider what you will read here. Each item is a matter
that should have a whole communication of its own. But
the fact is that we just don’t have the time to do
that. Not because we can’t take that time to write
so much, but because all of what you will read is upon
us right now.

The
Spirit of the Lord has continued to impress us that the
level of faith
and consecration in which
we have lived to this point will not be enough to carry us
through the days ahead in the victory of the Lord. This is
the hour of the suddenlies. Regardless of how normal and
placid things may look or feel on a personal level from day
to day, we believe that until the time of the Lord’s
return there is no reason to expect the spiritual
pressures to ever let up. Our next opportunity to stop will
be Glory.
What first started us off looking at the future in this manner was our entrance
into the field of ministry concerning the relationship between Germany and
Israel. As some of you know, in the last ten months we have been there four
times. The main ministry we are connected to there (TOS) has been to Israel
and stayed with us at the Center three times in the last twelve months. And
amazingly to all of us, the Lord has opened the door of relationships before
us with national networks and leaders from all over Germany.
The spiritual significance of the connection between these two nations is immense.
From this we must conclude that we have entered into a realm of spiritual activity
beyond any of our former experiences. The enemy targets believers. He especially
has an eye for Jewish believers. Jewish believers living in Israel are even
more of a threat. Add in the German connection and we are undoubtedly in for
some surprises. As this reality dawned upon us, about a month ago, we began
making some serious changes in our lives to prepare for the dark wrath that
would most surely come our way. Wisdom dictated that we begin to respond to
this before the experiential reality would land at our doorstep. We instituted
a rotation where one of our team is always fasting. We began spending more
and more time in the Tabernacle before the Lord, several of us embarked on
a twenty-one day fast, getting up in the dark became a normal practice, and
yonit and I began starting every day with prayer and communion.
You might remember the word we had last September at the time of
the Feast of Trumpets. We heard the Lord say that there would be
one year of special
grace for His Body to behold and deal with certain dysfunctions in our lives,
after which time it would be much harder to do so and many lives and ministries
would soon thereafter come to ruin if there were no repentance. If that word
was conception, what we have now heard is the beginning of labor. It “just
so happens” that Shavuot, which begins on Tuesday evening week after
next, is celebrated in Israel as the anniversary of the giving of the Torah,
which marks the birth of Israel as a Nation. It is also the anniversary of
the outpouring of the Spirit in Jerusalem, which marks the birth of the Church.
It is exactly nine months from the Feast of Trumpets. Do you think something
is about to happen? Stay tuned.
This Monday, Yonit and I fly to Tubingen, Germany, to be part of
a conference team which includes Geri and Lilo Keller from Switzerland,
Scott Macleod of
Nashville, Rick Joyner, and Jobst Bittner (the host). The conference is announcing “The
Dawn of a New Day,” particularly for Germany and Europe. Paul Cain prophesied
years ago that an awful evil alliance would arise when the spirit of Communism
joined with the spirit of Islam. How amazing. The EU just opened its eastern
border to receive ten nations from the other side of the former Iron Curtain.
Europe has already been overrun with Islam over the last several years. The
prophecy is coming to pass right now. The good news is that Paul Cain
also saw that in the face of this great darkness God would raise up a glorious
Church that would live in the victory Yeshua won at the Cross. This glory will
probably not be the fruit of ease and comfort. Are we ready? Please
pray for this conference and in particular the future coming together of the
believing youth of Germany and the yet-unbelieving youth in Israel.

The
day after we return home from the conference we head directly
into this
year’s new age Shavuot festival,
Shantipi, to which, last year, we brought thirty-nine Native
believers from nations around the world. We wrote last month
and asked our partners to pray about the wild possibility
of having a village within this year’s festival completely
and openly dedicated to talking about who Yeshua is and what
it means to be a Jew. To our own astonishment it is coming
to pass! The time has come to bring Yeshua home so that His
fellow Jews can know Him as their own and not any longer
as the God of the Gentiles. As He did last year, the Lord
has given the believers two of the most desirable locations
in the festival. One is for a literature table and the other
for a 200-square-meter area for our stage and coffeehouse.
We are working together with believers from all over the
country to put it all together. We have seen the favor of
the Lord turn opposition into ridiculous blessing. We have
no grid on which to place this event. It is such a first.
The Word of God says that it is “to the Jew first.” So
that means that this breakthrough in Israel will also reverberate
all throughout the world as it has happened for the past
one hundred and fifty years. Two examples of such are the
great Latter Rain healing revival that sprang up in the year
Israel came into statehood and the Jesus People revival in
the West at the time Jerusalem came back into Jewish hands.
This opportunity is the result of a countless measure of prayers and tears
for years and years. Everyone that has ever prayed for revival in Israel or
for the lost seekers has had a hand in opening this door. It truly is a new
day. The fact that we have found favor with a group that is known for accepting
just about anybody and anything could cause us to not see this as something
so terribly significant. However, if we consider it from the realm of the spirit,
and think of how much the enemy hates what is about to happen, and imagine
how hard he must have tried to prevent it, and realize that the power of God
has so arisen that the prince of darkness is about to lose some major ground,
then we will understand that this signifies a great shift in the heavenlies
which will likely release multitudes into the Kingdom all over the world.
How amazing. We are announcing the dawn of a new day in Germany as it has already
dawned in Israel. Please pray for this event. Our vision is
to share the words of Yeshua, do His deeds, and allow the Holy Spirit to confirm
to the people who this son of David really is. Isn’t that the way it
was done when He walked this earth two thousand years ago? Hallelujah!!!
