“ A
Call to Prayer”
“When an unclean
spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking
rest, and finds none. 44Then he says, ‘I will return
to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes,
he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45Then he goes
and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself,
and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that
man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this
wicked generation.” (Matthew 12:43-45)
Calling
all saints! We are sitting in another window of time
and God is beckoning; who will come and stand in the
Gap for the land that I will not destroy it? We’ve
experienced what many of we intercessors have been praying
for some time now; that being that the Lord would replace
the wicked king from among the Palestinian people. Now
Arafat - that wicked ruler that was alone responsible
for the deaths of so many - has been removed.
So
here we are, standing in a vacuum according to the verse
above, in a room that has been swept and put in order
(spiritually speaking) and the whole world holds its
breath to see what will become of it. Will we see salvation
come to Ishmael and peace to Israel? Or will seven more,
worse than the first take up their abode and make the
conditions worse than before? We’ve prayed beloved
and we’ve indeed seen God answer BUT we are not
finished. We’ve actually only begun. We need to
pray in to office a God fearing man, a godly king with
a heart like David who will lead his people into the
great grace of God.
Do you have faith for it? Can you, like Abraham call those things which
are not as though they were? Will we believe beyond belief for a leader
to be sent from God to rally all heaven for the sake of the people of
the Middle East? Are you one of those doomsayers whose theology says; “Oh
well, we know that things will get worse and worse and then the end will
come? Or are you persevering, joining the ranks of Moses, Joshua, and
yes, the king of Nineveh, who turned the heart of God by petition and
through faith released God’s mercy instead of the God’s judgment?
.
Yes God’s will is that none should perish, but that all should
come to repentance. This could be that moment in time when God would
love to extend His hand of mercy to Ishmael and save a people, if only
to make Israel jealous. We must pray through until God answers. We must
plead the mercy of God until we taste it and see it released on the Arab
and Jewish people. God is looking for a bride who changes history, not
one who sets idly by and accepts judgment as the only option. Pray, Pray
and then Pray some more.
