Yeshua Ministries - Simcha
Davidov
“Write the vision and make
it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.” (Habakkuk
2:2)
Shalom dear friend,
Greetings to you our partner and thank
you for standing with us as we share Yeshua the Messiah with
His people. Most of them do
not know Him yet. Once again I sense the stirring in my heart to
write the story of how the Lord brought me to Salvation in Yeshua.
A personal testimony is an effective tool in sharing the “Greatest
News” of life in Messiah. In the Acts of the Apostles the
story of how God saved Paul is shared three times. During the Eighties
I printed and shared several thousand copies of my testimony in
English, in the States, and since then was prompted by the Holy
Spirit directly and through other people to write it again in Hebrew
to be used for evangelism. Bella’s testimony would also be
great addition and together we could write a booklet to be distributed
free to people in Israel. Please join us in prayer for the writing
to be effective in sharing the message, touching the reader’s
heart and bringing glory to God.
A MINISTRY BROCHURE
We intend to write and print
a brochure that will explain the ministry the Lord has put on our
hearts. It will be used to inform believers
outside of Israel about the importance of sharing the Gospel
with the Jewish people and the part of it God has called us to
do, “sharing it in Israel”. You and us are called
to share the blessings God has bestowed upon us and the knowledge
of the salvation through Yeshua the Messiah, but also, my friend,
as Gratefully Grafted believers to whom God has revealed His
faithfulness and love to Israel and His longing for them to return
to Him, it would be great if you could share it with other believers
who do not have this revelation yet. It is an important calling
of the “Body of Messiah” to bring the Gospel back
to the “Original Messengers”. If you know of someone
who might be interested, you may give him or her a copy of this
newsletter.
SHABBAT IN ASHDOD
In our “special time” with
our LORD since our wedding we also visit other congregations in
Israel and it is encouraging
to see what God is doing around our country. We have visited a
good size Kehila (Hebrew for congregation) on mount Carmel, which
has a beautiful mixture of Jewish, Arab and Gentile believers who
meet in their own attractive few years old building. Also there
is a small congregation in the Modi’in area (between Tel
Aviv and Jerusalem) that we have visited twice. It has good potential
for growing and serving this area, as it is the only one around.
We visited the Russian congregation in Ashdod, which has predominantly
new immigrants from the former Soviet Union. Even though we don’t
understand Russian, yet the Spirit of God was moving as the people
praised and worshiped God with their whole hearts. We sensed a
kindred spirit with the leadership and were able to share a little
as we met after the service. Later that afternoon along the promenade
by the sea in Ashdod we shared the Gospel and gave testimony books
to the people. Last but not least we returned to our home Kehila
in Tel Aviv last Shabbat and the meeting was wonderful with fresh
and alive worship, good message and a brand new visiting couple
and another young Israeli man who committed their lives to the
LORD. The man received a book in the street and came to the congregation,
glory to Yeshua.
Please continue to stand in prayer with us for:
1. The thousands of Israelis who heard the Gospel and God is working
in their hearts.
2. Simcha and Bella’s part in “Messiah’s Body” in
Israel.
3. The “Friendship Evangelism” in our Kibbutz.
4. Our coming USA trip, June-July-August, meetings, travel and
visitations.
5. New believers, D, M, S and G – to grow in the LORD and
for their protection.
Thank you, dear ones for your faithfulness to the LORD as you
partner with us.
Excited and counting ourselves blessed to serve Him with you,
Simcha and Bella Davidov
