End of an Era: Arafat’s
Death
After weeks of speculation and illness, Yasser
Arafat finally died in Paris last month. Arafat’s death marks the end of an
era marked by some of the most tumultuous times in the history
of the Middle East. Arafat dominated the Palestinian life for
nearly four decades. He thrust the Arab/Israeli conflict to the
center of world attention and his trademark Kafiya became a worldwide
symbol. To say that he dominated the Palestinian situation is
an under-statement. His rule was autocratic and corrupt. He was
responsible for the death of thou-sands of Palestinians & Israelis.
He was the sixth wealthiest national leader on earth whose personal
assets, according to the Arab TV station Al Jazerra, is estimated
to between 4.2 and 6.5 billion dollars. At the same time the
people he was supposed to care for has on pur-pose been held
in abject poverty and misery. A new book by Time Magazine's former
bu-reau chief in Jerusalem reveals how Arafat let his own security
forces go without pay for months, while he channeled the money
to his own terror organization, the Al Aqsa Martyr's Brigades,
who murdered Israeli civilians and ruled the Palestinian cities
like gangsters. No man in this generation has more Jewish civilian
blood on his hands than Yasser Arafat. On top of this he is also
responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Lebanese
Chris-tians during his reign of terror there. He is the father
of modern day terrorism. Airplane hijacking was invented by Yasser
Arafat. The hijacking and shooting of innocent school children
began with him, as well as the hijacking and killing of Olympic
athletes. He has for ten years systematically indoctrinated the
young Palestinian generation in terror to the point that over
50% of them today want to become suicide terrorists. With his
speeches of "millions of martyrs marching towards Jerusalem," he
incited death. If his goal only had been national independence
for his own people, he would have had his state a long time ago.
Arafat was personally more than anyone else, responsible for
the global renewal of anti-Semitism having skillfully used Palestinian
misery for his purposes. He has probably influ-enced international
politics more than any other leader in this generation and laid
a solid foundation for the present day worldwide hatred of Israel.
He is a documented homosexual. It is very possible that his death
was caused by AIDS.
His aides wanted him to be buried in Jerusalem in the Al Aqsa
Mosque compound next to the Dome of the Rock, which is also the
site of
the Second Jewish Temple…the holiest site in Judaism. Israel
refused, unwilling to bury him in Jerusalem as he was labeled by
some the “Godfather of Modern Terrorism” and he used
terrorism as a political weapon. He was the most dangerous man
to the State of Israel and was a genius at evil and never abandoned
terror in his phased plan to destroy the State of Israel.Arafat
was buried in the West Bank town of Ramallah…For Israelis,
Arafat will always be a terrorist…but for his people he will
be remembered as the father of the Palestinian cause…
