Israel's Pro-Life Association
Dear praying friends,
Little Alice has been through a difficult
week. She spent 4 days (Tues. through Friday) in the hospital
and went through two
surgical procedures under heavy sedation. She is now home again
with a large bandage on her left eye after having undergone
radiation therapy in
that eye.
Now the family can only wait until the next
examination on April 1 and pray that the therapy has been successful.
If the tumor
has not disappeared by the next examination on April 1, the
physician will probably remove her left eye, as, humanly speaking,
there is nothing more he can do. But our Lord has wonderful
resources far beyond the possibilities of medical science.
So please keep praying! And thank you for
the many words of encouragement you have been sending.
Blessings and love in His faithfulness,
your friend, Betsy

Previous update, from March 3rd:
Dear friends who pray for little Alice,
Regarding the recent up-date in which I reported
that the physician had found a 5 ml. tumor plus twovery small
ones, in Alice's
left eye, my daughter and son-in-law decided to go ahead with
the radiation treatment. The first stage was performed yesterday,
a day after the family returned from their holiday in Spain.
It was a very difficult process for little
Alice and for her parents, as well. Now she has one side of
her face bandaged and will
remain in the hospital until Friday when the device administering
theradiation treatment is removed. My daughter, May Ann, will
stay with her continually during thistime. Her father will
also come whenever possible and will bring her older sisters
to visit. Please pray that the treatment will be effective
and that there will be no need for
any further treatment of this kind!
Thank you so much for your prayers!
In His faithful love, Betsy
