Beit Immanuel Congregation
Tel-Aviv,
Israel
Beit Immanuel is reaching out
to the local Arab and Jewish peoples, and their Hebrew speaking
congregation continues to grow rapidly. They gather each Friday
night for a Worship
Celebration at Beit Immanuel and in homes throughout the week
all around the greater Tel-Aviv area. Pastor David Lazarus is also
a sought-after speaker worldwide and has ministered in churches
and conferences in more than 20
different nations.
Beit Immanuel is the home to
the Arabic speaking Congregation of Jaffa, as well as the Ethiopian
Congregation that meet here at different times during the week.
God has raised up the Beit Immanuel
Worship Team with invitations to lead worship in several different
countries including Switzerland, Ukraine, Canada, the United States
as well as major international conferences in Jerusalem. Teams
from Beit Immanuel minister each summer around the city and abroad
in places such as London and Kiev. We also have a ministry to drug
addicts here in Jaffa.
Through our music ministry, we
have recorded two CD’s and a Children's Worship Tape, all
of which are available for purchase.
Beit Immanuel, an Historical
building protected by the Israel Historical Society, was built
over 100 years ago as the Winter
Palace of Baron Ustinov. It now serves the Beit Immanuel Guest
House for Christian and private tourists both local and foreign,
seeking to pray or relax in the beauty of Israel.
Beit Immanuel is located near
the ancient Port and City of Jaffa (biblical Joppa) and just 5
minutes’ walk from the beautiful
Tel Aviv Beaches along the blue Mediterranean Sea. The airport
is just a 25-minute drive away.
It was at this ancient port that Peter had his vision (Acts 10:9),
and where Tabitha was raised from the dead (Acts 9:40). The Port
of Jaffa is the oldest port in the world and was used by Solomon
to bring wood from Lebanon up to Jerusalem for the Temple (2Ch
2:16).
Our Guest House is run by local Messianic believers together with
volunteers from many nations abroad. We endeavor to serve the many
prayer teams, groups and individuals that stay with us while they
travel around Israel, and give expression to the reconciled One
New Man in Messiah to the people of our nation. Some of these groups
volunteer for the work at Beit Immanuel while at the same time
praying for the country.
