GROUND ZERO PHOTOGRAPH The photo that you viewed was taken 8
days after the 9/11 event. After 4 years, I believe it is time
to release this photo to
the general public. The photo is taken while men prayed over
the Greek Orthodox Church, and what was left of this church after
the 9/11 event. Prior to releasing this photo and the biblical
text, this photo was given to the Greek Orthodox Church one year
after the event. Approximately a year and half later, I sent
a letter to Father Ramos of the Greek Orthodox Church asking
that it be released to the general public. I then met with him
after an Ash Wednesday service in 2004 in Brooklyn, New York,
and he gave the photo the blessing contingent upon getting the
approval of the people in the photo. After six months, I called
Father Ramos and he said that unfortunately, they had no idea
who these people were. I then said, “What shall we do”?
His response was that anybody can put on a black outfit; and
he blessed the photo and said to do what I wished.
To this day, we still don’t know who the people were,
but I do know that the picture and the scripture are strong words
that give people a different light to God’s purpose and
will. The photo has been trademarked and is being released with
any money made after printing, costs, etc. going to Christian
Mission programs locally in the Cedar Rapids area.
